Dambulla edged out Galle Outer by two runs in their Women’s Under-19 Lanka Youth League T20 Cricket Tournament match played at the Dambulla Stadium yesterday.
After piling up 86 for eight from their 20 overs, Dambulla picked up wickets at regular intervals and bowled out their opponents for 84 in the last over with Player-of-the-Match Deumi Vihanga claiming four wickets for 17 runs. Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, Colombo North cruised to a comfortable 16-run victory over Kandy.
