ODYSSEY 2.0 an annual leadership development seminar organized by ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’ for the second consecutive time to develop leadership potential in the youth of AIESEC in University of Ruhuna.
AIESEC is the world’s largest global youth-run organization and always aims to develop leadership potential in youth. ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’ is one of the most prominent official expansion operating under AIESEC Sri Lanka.
ODYSSEY 2.0 the leadership development seminar organized by ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’ in 2022 where over 150+ young individuals from diverse sets of fields meet at one place to have an amazing leadership experience.
LDS 2.0 will be a unique experience unlike LDS 1.0 as it will be happening physically for the first time and will be the first ever physical Leadership Development Seminar in the history of ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’.
The leadership development seminar is aiming to provide a high-quality leadership development experience to the membership to help them to develop the skills required for becoming solution-oriented, resilient and innovative young leaders. Basically, this seminar will comprise areas concerned with choosing the precise leadership opportunities to build a successful leader in order to face the diverse society, balancing the career with one’s passion and insight about developing the leadership potential through AIESEC and has the aspect of nurturing future leaders and increasing the member engagement within ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’.
The seminar will be held on September 24-25, at Lavanga Resort, Hikkaduwa. A series of activities before the conference, interactive activities, games and discussions, where delegates could actively participate throughout the event.
The main objective of these activities is to enhance the team spirit and get all members to the direction of entity goals and build a potential set of members in ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’ with a clear mindset.
ODYSSEY 2.0 will be the best seminar to develop soft skills of the membership to adapt to new normal by being resilient. The former organizing committee and the Executive Board of AIESEC in Ruhuna is giving their fullest contribution to the success of this event. ODYSSEY 2.0 will be a tremendous event organized to uplift the youth development in ‘AIESEC in University of Ruhuna’.
