In response to a request made by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Sri Lanka, the Chairman-Farmacy Association of the Naples (Napoli) Municipal Council, Santa Gada has donated a consignment of medicinal drugs worth Rs.20 million (Euro 50,000) to Sri Lanka.
The drug consignment will be handed over to Chief of Defence Staff General Shavendra Silva by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Sri Lanka on behalf of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Italy at an event to be held at the BMICH premises today. The donation was organized by the Chairman of the AIES association of Italy Andrea Merlino with the intervention of Ravindra Jegan, a Sri Lankan Councillor in the Naples Municipal Council and in the coordination of Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Italy Jagath Wellawatte.
