Unbeaten Richmond record fifth win

Unbeaten defending runner up Richmond College Galle recorded their fifth win in their first round fixtures of the Under 19 Schools Limited Overs Cricket tournament yesterday.

Richmond beat S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia by five wickets at Mt. Lavinia. Sri Lanka youth cap Malsha Tharupathi’s all-round performances steered Richmond to win.

Unbeaten Lyceum International School Wattala recorded their eighth win in this season so far. Sri Sumangala College Panadura, Lyceum International School Wattala, Siddhartha College Balapitiya, Loyola College Negombo, Christ King College Ja-Ela, Wickramabahu Central College Gampola, Azhar College Akurana and Skandavarodaya College Jaffna won their matches.
