Sixty seven accident cases at CNH for new year

Sixty seven persons have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital (CNH) due to accidents with the dawn of New Year. According to Colombo National Hospital spokesman, many of them have been injured due to negligence.

He said that 17 persons have been admitted to the hospital due to accidents, four persons due accidents related to lighting of firecrackers, 18 due to miscellaneous accidents.

Three persons who had intervened in disputes have also been admitted to the hospital for treatment with the dawn of New Year, he said.
