MA Aquarium Plants, one of the rising stars of the ornamental fish and related products sector in the North Western province, recently won the award for the best upcoming enterprise under the industry/manufacturing sector - micro scale category at the Wayamba Wijayabhimani award ceremony - 2022 organized by the North Western Provincial Council and the Industrial Services Bureau of the Province.
Managing Director of the Company, Miriyam Manohari Kaushalya Silva received the award on behalf of the company. In 2018, MA Aquarium Plants won gold awards for the best enterprise in Nattandiya and for Puttalam District at the Thambapanni Abhimani award ceremony organized by the Puttalam District Chamber of Commerce. MA Aquarium Plants produces high quality artificial aquarium plants, and plant related ornaments. The company is the only institution that produces these in Sri Lanka and MA Aquarium Plants takes great care to ensure that their production process is environmentally friendly. The artificial aquarium plants come in various sizes and colors and have been tested to ensure the safety of the fish.
