The convocation for the undergraduates who have completed the Education, Education Philosophy, Education Management Science, and Education Management degree programmes conducted by the National Institute of Education (NIE) was held on December 27 and 28 at the BMICH, Colombo. Here, Education Minister Susil Premajayantha awards a certificate to a degree holder. NIE Director General Dr. Sunil Jayantha Nawarathne is also present. This year, 2,283 students were awarded degrees and post-graduate degrees in the fields of Education, Education Philosophy, Education Management Science and Education Management. Picture by M.
