Kandy SC - Navy clash on next Sunday

Defending League champions and table leaders Kandy SC led by front row forward Damith Dissanayke are preparing for the fourth game against Sri Lanka Navy, which will be played on next Sunday (Jan 8) at Nittawela. All of the players are really looking forward to give their best.

They have assembled a very strong roster which we believe can have a very successful game. Up to date they have beat the Sri Lnka Army, CR and FC and Sri Lanka Air Force.

According to the rugby chairman of the club the side is working hard on physical, tactical and technical development.

In all three games their impressive team performance helped them to win and this time too maintains an iron-clad grip on the game at all level, which will help them on success of the team above all other clubs.

That spirit, together with the team’s astonishing history of success, helps to produce a kind of aura around the team.

This is the country’s most successful rugby club, thanks to the players for giving their best on the field, which has helped the club to be on top and they have a record for being the most successful rugby club since 1992 with the most number of wins in the League.
