Armed attack on Mexican prison leaves 14 dead

MEXICO: Mexican authorities said on Sunday at least 14 people died in an armed attack at a prison in the northern border city Juarez and two more died during a later armed aggression elsewhere in the city. Three cops injured in New York machete attack

Brazil’s Lula sworn in as President for third term

BRAZIL: Brazil’s Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was sworn in as President on Sunday for the third time after thwarting far-right incumbent Bolsonaro’s reelection bid. Ten killed in Kabul military airport blast
