Hike in electricity tariffs to be discussed by Cabinet next week

Cabinet Spokesman Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardana said that it was decided to discuss the imposition of an increase in electricity tariffs at the Cabinet meeting next week. Accordingly, the Minister said that the proposal presented by the Power and Energy Minister for the revision of the electricity tariffs will be discussed next week. The Minister said this at the Cabinet media conference held yesterday at the Government Information Department.
