People’s Leasing and Finance PLC (PLC), a premier non-bank financial Institution (NBFI) in Sri Lanka recently bagged an accolade as the winner of the ‘Finance Category’, at the 04th Edition of the ‘CSE Masterminds Quiz 2022’ organized by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
The event was held at the Waters Edge Hotel on November 3, 2022 with the participation of sixth seven teams representing Institutions from financial, non-bank financial, private and state sectors island-wide.
The participating teams were divided into seven categories based on their core area of business and were awarded for the excellence in each category. Global Economy and Capital Markets, Sports and Entertainment, International Business, Sri Lankan Economy and Business, Sri Lankan Stock Market, Name the Listed Company were the focused areas of the competition.
PLC was the winner in the ‘Finance Category’ while DFCC Bank (Team 1), Amana Takaful Insurance, CT CSLA, Zero Beta, Ansell Lanka (Pvt) Limited and Acuity Knowledge Partners won special accolades for topping their respective categories.
Winning PLC team comprised of Chamodya Gunawardena, Shiranga Arseculeratne, Prasadi N. Leelarathna, Tharanga Gamlath and Erandathi Kumarasena.
