Deposit money called for Galle District LG Polls

Since yesterday all necessary arrangements have been made to pay deposit money for the forthcoming Local Government elections in the Galle District, Galle District Election Office sources disclosed.

Since January 4 to 20 until12.00 pm, the deposits can be made and accordingly a recognized political party has to deposit 1,500 rupees each for its candidates and an independent group has to deposit 5,000 rupees, the sources further stated .
