Sri Lanka Coast Guards took into their custody a multi-day fishing vessel, which was transporting 20 Kilograms of heroin in the sea, Sri Lanka Navy Spokesman Captain Gayan Wickramasooriya said yesterday.
The vessel IMUL 1610 named ‘Kingfisher’ had left from the Mirissa Fisheries Harbour and it was brought to the Beruwala Fisheries Harbour along with its skipper and the crew, he said.
