Schaffter’s death: Brother’s evidence recorded at Magisterial inquiry

The Magisterial Inquiry into the death of Janashakthi Director Dinesh Schaffter was conducted yesterday in the chamber of Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya.

Evidence was recorded from the brother of the deceased person.

However, reporters did not get permission to report the proceedings of the case.

The wife and an employee who worked under Schaffter had earlier given evidence before the Additional Magistrate at the Magistrate’s chamber.The Magistrate fixed further inquiries for January 13.
