Sadhaharitha Group holds annual awards ceremony

The Annual Awards for 2021-2022, of Sri Lanka’s pioneer in green investment sector and the pioneer which introduced Agawood to Sri Lanka, Sadhaharitha Group, was held recently at Eagles Lakeside, Attidiya, Dehiwala.

The event saw the participation of several distinguished dignitaries in the field, including the Chairman of Sadaharitha Sathis Navaratne, over 650 staff members and senior management. The event saw over 150 cash prizes including gold, silver and bronze awards being presented to those who have served the company in an exemplary manner.

This event was organized by Sadaharitha Plantations Ltd, which has gained recognition as a complete Sri Lankan company that provides green investment opportunities with excellent returns. The awards ceremony this year was held under the theme ‘Forestry Award 2022- REDEFINING RESILIENCE’, which reflected the company’s stability and resilience. During the event, the company appreciated and recognized the performance, efforts, service, hard work and dedication of its staff members.

The awards included overseas trips, cash prizes and certificates. The awards were presented to the staff attached to the marketing division who had excelled in the years 2021/22. In addition, seven special awards were also presented in the ‘Most Outstanding’ category for those who have outshined others in the marketing division.

Chairman Sathis Navaratne said: “I am repeatedly amazed by the quality of work and enthusiasm shown by our employees. We have managed to achieve our targets and have shownexemplary performances even at a time when our country’s economy is in crisis. As the pioneer which introduced Agawood to Sri Lanka, we have been bestowed with the reputation of being the best Agawood provider in the local market for the past many years. We have nearly 1,300 members in our staff.This is a greatway to recognize and thank each and every one of them.”
