KDU Nursing degree accredited by SLNC

The BSc Nursing programme offered by the Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) has been accredited by the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).

KDU media sources state that the BSc Nursing programme offered by Faculty of Allied Health Sciences has been accredited with effect from January 1 this year.

The Department of Nursing and Midwifery of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, KDU will be recognized as a SLNC accredited training institution for nursing education and there by accepting the degree certificate awarded by KDU to award SLNC registration, it says.

The KDU has been offering a four-year BSc Nursing (Honours) degree since 2013. The Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC) is the professional body that regulates nursing practice in Sri Lanka.
