Secretary General of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Sri Lanka

Secretary General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Stephen Twigg arrived in the country on Tuesday night (10).

Deputy Chairman of Committees Angajan Ramanathan and Assistant Secretary General of Parliament Tikiri Jayathilaka received the CPA Secretary General and the group.

Twigg is accompanied by Emily Davies, Head of Strategy and Engagement of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.

During the visit of the CPA Secretary General Stephen Twigg, meetings are scheduled with the President, the Prime Minister, the Speaker, the Leader of the House, the Leader of the Opposition, the Foreign Minister and other Ministers, Members of Parliament as well as representatives of civil organizations.
