Police arrested a woman with a haul of heroin and meth worth more than Rs.10 million, when they raided a house in Pragathi Mawatha, Lenagala, Dedigamuwa in search of an underworld criminal.
The suspect (40) had in possession 204 grams of heroin and 520 grams of ICE substance. She is a resident of Puttalam.
She was working at a Karaoke Restaurant in Battaramulla and she was said to be having an illegal affair with an underworld criminal, who was involved in drug peddling.
Police had been on the lookout for this criminal in connection to a shooting incident at a restaurant in Hanwella.
