The Prime Minister recalled how China stood by Sri Lanka as true and trusted friend whenever the country is facing problems.

“As of today, information technology knowledge has become the most important tool that determines the future. You will add a lot of value to your life prior to leaving after obtaining education from this institute. It adds great value to the area and the country,” the Premier said.

“It is my wish to see this centre move beyond a traditional computer centre and become a centre where knowledge is imparted to children throughout most of the day.
