The Panadura Walana Central Anti-Corruption Unit has busted a prostitution racket being carried out at a location in Marine Drive, Kollupitiya and arrested five Thai women and a person identified as the manager of the location.
The police officers also found a device that is used to inhale the drug ‘Ice’ at the location.
The police say that two of the five Thai women who had come to Sri Lanka on tourist visas did not even have passports when the raid was made.
The police say that the arrested women are between the ages of 20 and 30. Police are also investigating to arrest the owner of the location.
