Student ends life after teacher’s accusation

A student who was slated to sit for this years Ordinary Level Exam has committed suicide reportedly after a teacher at school had falsely accused him of using drugs.

The student’s mother told the Nikaweratiya Police officers who  are investigating the death that the child had been upset leading upto his suicide, saying that a teacher falsely accused him of using drugs. A post-mortem examination is to be conducted and the police are investigating the incident.
