Air Lanka Cabin Crew Flight Steward,​ former pianist in five star hotels,​ former teacher and teacher-in-charge of Buddhist Studies at the Bhikku Educational Unit,​ Lyceum International School - Nugegoda,​ former Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Buddhist Studies,​ University of Colombo,​ former Visiting Lecturer of Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka in Anuradhapura,​ former Visiting Lecturer of Dekanduwala Nuns Monastery,​ Guest Lecturer at Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka,​ Visiting Lecturer at Vidyalankara Pirivena - Peliyagoda,​ Visiting Lecturer at Sujatha Puthra International Vipassana Meditation Center,​ Anuradhapura,​ Preacher of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation - SLBC (Radio Sri Lanka),​ Preacher of Y.M.B.A. and the Dhamma Preacher at over 60 temples island-wide. Loving son of the late Illano Blok and Dorothy Blok,​ brother of Gail (Australia) & Gavin,​ brother-in-law of Whilem Solomonz,​ Kumari Herath & uncle of Joshua,​ Jacob,​ Joseph (Australia),​ Hayden and Shantall.
