Vidyaloka crush Wanduramba Central for nine runs

Wanduramba Central College was bowled out for nine runs by Vidyaloka College Galle in their first round fixture of the under 19 Inter Schools Two day Cricket Tournament yesterday. Seniru Niduwara, Vidyaloka left arm leg spinner claimed seven wickets for two runs against Wanduramba Central College.

Vidayaloka Left hander Dasun Chamod scored 153 runs in 120 balls with 14 boundaries and 7 sixes and right hander Lidula Nuwanga scored 104 runs in 62 balls with 12 boundaries and 7 sixes. Nuwanga made second century in this season. Dasun Chamod and Lidula Nuwanga put up 210 runs stand for their third wicket against Wanduramba Central College.

Rusanda Gamage of St. Peter’s College Bamabalapitiya scored 170 runs in 184 balls with 21 boundaries and a six against Ananda Colege Colombo.
