Former Speaker conferred Sri Lankaabhimanya on February 3

Former Speaker and senior politician Karu Jayasuriya has been conferred the Sri Lankaabhimanya honorary title by President Ranil Wickremesinghe and a extraordinary gazette notification in this regard has been issued by the Secretary to the President on Tuesday.

The President will personally confer this honour on Jayasuriya at a investiture ceremony to be held at the Presidential Secretariat on February 3.
