REV. FR. THUSITH PRADEEP FERNANDO of the Archdiocese of Colombo,​ expired on Sunday,​ the 22nd Janaury 2023. He is the beloved son of Mr W.J. Francis Fernando and Mrs R. Rita Fernando. His remains will lie in state at St. Anthony’s Church,​ Kadalana,​ Moratuwa. On 24th January,​ at 10.00 a.m. his remains will be taken to St. Rogus’ Church,​ Delatura and at 6.00 p.m. remains will be transferred to St. Anne’s Church,​ Palangatura. The Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday,​ the 25th of January at 3.00 p.m. followed by Burial at the R.C. Cemetery,​ Palangatura,​ Negombo. Archbishop’s House,​ Borella.004831

ALHAJ MOHAMED NAZEER RASHEED passed away peacefully in New York after a prolonged illness on 17th January 2023 and burial took place on 18th January at “Hillside Cemetery”,​ Cortland Manor,​ New York. He is the beloved husband of Pauline nee Ratnayake,​ much loved son of late S.A.M. Rasheed and late Hajiyani Abida Umma,​ loving son-in-law of late Vernon and late Ivy Ratnayake,​ affectionate brother of Khaneez,​ Zaneeya,​ Zeeniya and Nazeera,​ loving brother-in-law of late Hamza,​ late Nawfer,​ Ravi Widyalankara,​ Brian,​ late Dierdre,​ Marcia and Adrian Ratnayake and Therese Cooray,​ everloving uncle of Hazmar,​ Afzal,​ Zainab,​ Roshan and Claudine,​ dearly beloved grand uncle of Hayyan,​ Areeb,​ Haazim and Ameera.004957

Remains will lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour at 12.00 noon on Wednesday,​ 25th January.
