May 9, 2022: Blood samples from Temple Trees sent to Govt. Analyst

Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday ordered the Government Analyst to submit a report pertaining to the five blood samples which were found at the Temple Trees regarding the incident where protesters entered the Temple Trees and destroyed its properties on May 9. The Magistrate made this order subsequent to the request made by the Colombo North Divisional Crime Detective Bureau (DCDB).

The Police informed the Magistrate that they found five blood samples during the investigations carried out into the incident where protestors had forcibly entered Temple Trees and damaged its property.
