Wasim Thajudeen murder: Missing body parts taken to SAITM

 

The CID informed Court today that the missing body parts belonging to murdered rugby player Wasim Thajudeen had been taken to the SAITM campus in Malabe.

The Criminal Investigations Department informed Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris that the body parts were moved in 15 parcels in a vehicle, on the instructions of the former Colombo Chief JMO and Vice Chancellor of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) Prof. Ananda Samarasekara.
