Carter House with 252 points emerged champions at the school for the Deaf, Ratmalana inter-house sports meet held at the school's grounds, Ratmalana, recently under the guidance of Principal Samanthika Jayasuriya and Senior Assistant Laksiri Weerasinghe. Mishen House with 250 points and Gibbon House with 205 points occupied the second and third places respectively.
Drill display and march past by the students of the school for the Deaf, Ratmalana added colour to the event. The colourful events were attended by a large number of students, parents, past pupils and well wishers. The occasion was graced by the presence of Lion Deva D. Peter, District Governor 306/B1 (chief guest) and Thilanka de Zoysa (Guest of Honour) Shivantha Vivekanandan, President Deaf School Past Pupils’ Association, Ratmalana. It was sponsored byt the Lions Club of Colombo North 306/B1 sponsored by the Lions Club of Colombo North 306/B1. The T-shirt was sponsored by Horizon Lion Club 306/A1.
