Landslide warning for four districts

A landslide warning for several districts has been issued Disaster Management Center in the context of the continued heavy rains.

According to the warning, Balangoda, Imbulpe and Kolonna Divisional Secretariat Divisions and surrounding areas.in its close proximity in the district of Ratnapura. Udunuwara, Udapalatha, Pathahewaheta, and Gangawatakorale Divisional Secretariat Divisions and surrounding areas in the district of Kandy. Haguranketha, Nuwara Eliya, Walapane, and Ambagamuwakorale Divisional Secretariat Divisions and surrounding areas in the district of Nuwara Eliya. Haldummulla, Passara, Lunugala, Ella, Haliela, Haputale, Bandarawela, Soranathota, Uva Paranagama and Welimada Divisional Secretariat Divisions and surrounding areas of Badulla district are certain other locations included in the warning.
