CID records former PM’s statement

The Criminal Investigations Department has recorded a statement from former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, regarding the Easter Sunday terror attacks.

The CID investigators had apprised the court that they would record statements from former President Maithripala Sirisena and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe over the Easter Sunday attacks.

The investigators have already obtained statements from a number of politicians including former Governors Azath Salley and M. L. A. M. Hizbullah
