New Deputy Speaker apppointed

MP Ranjith Siyambalapititya has been appointed as the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament. He was nominated by Minister of Environment Mahinda Amaraweera and was seconded by MP Nimal Lanza.

Meanwhile, MP Angajan Ramanathan was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Committees of the Ninth Parliament. He was nominated by Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva.
