The Gregory Lake Park
The Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council has closed the Gregory Lake Park, Victoria Park and the Sandatenna Ecological Zone in Nuwara Eliya as a precaution to prevent the COVID -19 outbreak.
Nuwara Eliya Mayor Chandana Lal Karunaratne said that these tourist hot-spots are visited by tourists from all over the world, and those are closed down temporarily to prevent the COVID-19 from spreading.
