Heavy rains hit South Eruvil

Low lying areas under the Debt Pradeshiya Sabha (PS) in Manmunai, South Eruvil in the Batticaloa District were submerged in the heavy rains. Kalutawala, Dedativu, Kaluvanchikudi and Mankadu have been inundated damaging many houses. The public transport service has been completely disrupted in the heavy rains.

Many roads are now rehabilitated but most of the villages are still under water.
