The distribution of dry food ration parcels to temples and places of worship, which do not get adequate assistance in the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday morning. Implemented by the Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Ministry, the programme will provide dry food ration parcels to relevant temples including Meheni Arama, with Co-operative Wholesale Establishment (CWE) assistance.
