Twenty-six Grama Niladhari Divisions released from isolation

Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), General Shavendra Silva, said that 26 Grama Niladhari (GN) Divisions were released from isolation yesterday morning. These divisions are in the Moneragala, Hambantota,Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya, Batticaloa, Kalutara, and Gampaha districts.

The areas that were under isolation in Moneragala were Sewanagala, Kiriwewa, Bahirawa, Habarattawela, Habarugala, Mahagama, and Idikolapelessa. Those of the Trincomalee District included the Kurinchakerny and Munachchenei Grama Niladhari Divisions.

The Lindula GN Division and St. Coombs Estate were the areas released from isolation in the Nuwara Eliya District, while the Kattankudy and Nochimunai areas were the areas released in the Batticaloa District. The Agunakolapelessa division of Hambantota was also released from isolation.

The areas in the Kalutara District included Panadura South and Vijitha Mawatha in Nagoda South. Meanwhile the areas of the Gampaha District that were released included Weliweriya, Etikehelgalla, Mahabage, Elapitiwala, Wattala, Kurundugahahena, Kunjagahawatta, Divulapitiya, Palugahawela, Dungalpitiya, Kepungoda, Pitipana North, and Kadawatha.
