The Mattakkuliya Lions Club provided dry rations worth Rs.350,000 to 200 families displaced by the recent floods in Wattala. The rations were handed over by PDG Lion Sivapathasunderam, Region Chairman Lion Maheswaran, Region Chairman Lion Kamal Silva, Zone Chairman Lion Ninesh, Club President Lion Bertram, sponsor Lion Renganathan, and other members during a special ceremony held at the Hendala Purana Viharaya.

Twenty beds were recently handed over to the Addalaichenai Ayurveda Hospital under the government’s programme to provide 10,000 beds to hospitals islandwide.
