Susal claims Online Blitz Chess Tourney

Sri Lanka’s promising youth chess player Susal de Silva of Nalanda College won the International Chess Day Commemorative Online Blitz Chess Championship convincingly.

The 15-year-old played strongly to beat Jayandi Bimansa, Rajeendra Kalugampitiya, Ranindu Dilshan Liyanage, A. A. C. B. Amarasinghe and S. Harishman to score full points.

The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka (CFSL) conducted the event for 40 invited players and 36 competitors participated.
