Gem, Relic stolen from temple in Wanduramba

The golden Urna Curl Relic (Urna Roma Dhathuwa) and a small gem fixed on a Buddha statue at the Kumbalamalahena Sri Kashyapa Temple in Wanduramba has been stolen by an unidentified person. The Chief Incumbent of the temple has lodged a complaint with the Wanduramba Police in this regard.

The relic and the gem are worth over Rs. 150,000, the Chief Incumbent has stated in his complaint. Wanduramba Police are investigating.
