It had been a challenging year for the Government with the COVID-19 pandemic on one hand and economic hardships on the other, but it managed to achieve a considerable progress of the tasks entrusted upon it by the people. It continued development activities and welfare measures to the people despite the pandemic. Some of the progressive steps and landmark events in the first year of the Government are listed as follows.
