Three suspects arrested with 90 kg of venison, game meat

Lunugamvehera Wildlife Officers have arrested three suspects along with 50 kilos of venison and 90 kilos of wild boar meat in Thanamalwila.

One of the suspects has escaped, the Lunugamvehera Wildlife Office said.

The suspects are residents of Sarvodaya village, Thanamalwila and they all are under 40 years of age.

A gun, a bicycle and a pack of ammunition have been seized as well, the Wildlife Officers said..
