Sapling Planting Programme begins in Addalaichenai

Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure State Ministry Secretary Prof.

Ranjith Dissanayake planted a sapling marking the programme to plant 200 thousand saplings on either side of Highways under the supervision of Road Development Authority (RDA) sponsored by Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure State Ministry recently.

Over 1,000 saplings will be planted in the Province.

A series of meetings were also held in Aathimunai, Sarvodayapura, Allimulla, Hingurana, RP 7, Vattinagala and Kalkantha to review the progress of the construction of rural bridges.

Road Development Authority (RDA) Ampara Chief Engineer K.L.M.Ismail, Executive Engineers M.I. Nawmudeen, T.Sivasubramaniyam and M.I. Sajir, RDA Engineers, Technical Officers participated.
