English Language Centre opened with assistance from India

The Indian Consul General’s office in Hambantota set up an English Language Centre at Medawelena Maha Vidyalaya, Tissamaharama, recently.

Indian Consul General P.R. Dipin opened the centre which has been named after the renowned Indian writer R.K. Narayan.

Medawelena Maha Vidyalaya Principal Nalan Jayasekera, teachers and students of the school participated in the opening ceremony.

The Principal expressed his gratitude to the Indian Consul General’s office for this valuable contribution.
