Prasanna accuses Maithripala of destroying SLFP

Tourism and Aviation Minister Prasanna Ranatunga yesterday said that he is not against the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. “We have great respect towards the SLFP from where we began our politics,” he said. However, the Minister said that he has issues with those who steered the party during the last few years .

Speaking at a function in Veediyawatte in Yakkala yesterday, Ranatunga said that those who cannot stand by the Government should leave the government without criticizing it.

Ranatunga accused former President Maithripala Sirisena of destroying the SLFP. “They are trying to destroy this Government too,” he said.
