The shining sportsmen from youth sports clubs coming under the purview of Thirukkovil Divisional Secretariat Division felicitated for their outstanding performance in sports.
The ceremony was held at Divisional Secretariat, Thirukkovil recently. The Thirukkovil Divisional Secretariat Youth Services Officer K.Prabakaran was organized the ceremony while the Thirukkovil Divisional Secretary T.Kajendran graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
About 65 sportsmen and women from 15 registered youth clubs in Thirukkovil DS division who brought fame to Thirukkovil DS division were honoured with cubs at the ceremony.
They performed well at the Youth Sports Festival-2021 conducted by the National Youth Services Council (NYSC) coming under the purview of Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Assistant Divisional Secretary K.Sathisekaran, Asst. Planning Director M.Anoja, Ampara District Youth Services Officers A.Mubarak Ali, sponsors, coaches, school principals, state officials, players and others participated at the event.
Winners were congratulated and honoured by the Guests on this occasion.
