New power connections will be delayed: CEB

The provision of new connections, including both bulk and retail electricity connections, will be delayed due to the shortage of materials owing to the prevailing economic crisis in the country, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said yesterday.

The CEB extended its apologies to customers for the inconvenience caused due to the delay in the provision of new connections.
