Suspect who set fire to two buses in Mirihana arrested

The suspect who set fire to two buses in Mirihana during a protest on March 31 was arrested yesterday afternoon by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Police spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa told the Daily News that the suspect (42) is from Deraniyagala. He works as a laborer at a spare parts shop in the Nugegoda, Gangodawila area. He was arrested in Deraniyagala.
