Man cut at filling station

SOORIYAWEWA: A man was hospitalised following a clash at a fuel queue at an IOC filling station at the Viharagala Road in Sooriyawewa yesterday morning.

During the clash, a 57-year-old person who was there to get diesel to a lorry had been cut with a pair of scissors.

The victim was a resident of Veheragodella in Padalangala. He had been admitted to a Sooriyawewa Hospital. Police are investigating.
