Wall collapses on three children, one dies

Owing to the inclement weather in the Batticaloa district, a wall of a building under construction collapsed on three children playing there, killing one, on Wednesday (3).

Four-year-old Usanar Fatima Rema from the resettled village of Pothanai, Punani, in the Kiran secretarial division, died in the wall collapse, Valaichchenai OIC Lasantha Bandara said.
