CHINNIAH - DAMAYANTHI RANI nee ANKETELL (6 Oct 1940 - 5 Aug. 2022) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Bennet of 52 years, loving mother of David and Timothy, mother-in-law of Renuka and Sharla, grandmother of Analise and Joshua, sister of the late Balan and Eva Anketell; Drs. Inpam and Karunyan Arulanantham; Dr. Arul and Ranji Anketell; Suren and Christine Anketell and Gnane and Chandra Anketell, daughter of the late Ernest Balasingham and Thapomani (died when Damayanti was 2 months). Her father remarried the late Susan Anketell whom she knew as her mother. Damayanti was a teacher loved by her students in Sri Lanka and the US. She taught high school science and scripture at Methodist College, Sri Lanka. A memorial service will be held at the Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 505 E, 42nd Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21218 on Saturday, August 13, 2022 beginning at 11 a.m.046585
