Boy dies in goat shed mishap

A 12-year-old boy was reported dead when his neck was entangled in a rope that was hanging from the roof of a goat shed at his house in Rambukewela area in Ankumbura area on Wednesday.

The victim Karupaiah Shasheelan was a student of grade five who studied in the Rambukewela Junior College.

According to the police, the child had been in the guardianship of his mother’s sister along with his sister as the parents are living abroad. Ankumbura Police are investigating.
